About Apple Watch Series 12
Apple Watch Series 12 introduces what Apple calls a Health Sensing System, which samples heart rate in the background every five seconds and measures heart rate variability more often than earlier models. It adds a daily Readiness score alongside sleep scores, ECG, and hypertension and sleep apnoea notifications. Apple quotes up to 24 hours of normal battery life, and prices start at $399 (£369) with no subscription required; an iPhone is needed.
